The beginning

Formed on 30 September 2013 by a group of Irish decedents, the Omaha Irish Cultural Center's (OICC)  mission is to foster Irish culture and heritage in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa by supporting and hosting educational classes in Irish language, dance, music, literature and art; cultural events like festivals, genealogical services offered through strategic partnerships, and musicians, artists and authors from Ireland or whose work is related to Irish culture.
