Omaha Irish Film Festival 2025

A heartfelt gratitude for the generous support from Douglas County, the City of Omaha, and the Government of Ireland in bringing celebrations of Irish culture to Omaha in March 2025.

2025 St Patrick’s Day Awards Brunch

The Omaha Irish Cultural Center hosted the annual Awards Brunch to honor Omaha’s Irish-American Professionals in business, arts and culture, and public service. 2025 Award recipients included: Ed & John Creighton Excellence Award: JoAnn McGee & Ed Walsh; Jack & Kathleen Cavanaugh Outstanding Public Service Award: Michael McCarville; and Father Edward Flanagan & Mother Catherine McAuley Lifetime Achievement Award: Father Tom Fangman

With the support of friends in Chicago and Ireland, Omaha indulged in Irish film for the first time. Unique films and shorts had the audience on the edge of their seats at the Benson Theatre.

Omaha Irish Cultural Center led its first annual awards brunch with three awards to honor business leaders, public service leaders, and educational leaders.
