Max Sparber is teaching an introduction to the Irish language.   Irish for Americans is a course that looks at the history of the Irish language, how it is used in Ireland today and how it is used in the US.  Students will learn the five words every Irish American should know along with words used to describe family, for holidays, to describe Irish culture and even the language for drinking.  Join him on Saturday, March 7th from 1-3pm at the Crook House Museum in the lower level Education Room.  To register contact the Douglas County Historical Society at 402.455.9990 ext 101.  Cost of the course is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers.
